Website and service terms
Terms and Conditions
These terms describe the general basis for using the ConforIQ website and engaging ConforIQ for advisory, review, planning, and coordination support.
Website use
The website provides general information about ConforIQ services and product compliance topics. Users should not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or submit unlawful or harmful material.
Service scope
A service begins only when the parties approve a written proposal, quotation, statement of work, or other agreement. That document should define deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, timing, fees, and responsibilities. If it conflicts with these general terms, the signed project document should govern the engagement.
Advisory role and regulatory responsibility
ConforIQ supports regulatory research, readiness review, testing and documentation planning, supplier-evidence coordination, and market-entry preparation. ConforIQ is not a regulator, laboratory, notified body, or certification body unless a written agreement explicitly identifies a separate qualified provider.
Requirements and decisions depend on the product, classification, claims, intended use, market, sales route, and current official rules. ConforIQ does not guarantee approval, certification, retailer acceptance, or market access.
Client information and decisions
The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete product, supplier, market, claim, and evidence information. The client remains responsible for final product decisions, legal obligations, market placement, and verification of current requirements with appropriate specialists and authorities.
Third parties
Laboratories, certification bodies, authorities, translators, auditors, and other specialists may be involved where appropriate. Their decisions, terms, fees, timelines, and performance are separate from ConforIQ unless a written agreement states otherwise.
Fees and payment
Fees, taxes, currency, invoice timing, deposits, expenses, and payment instructions are confirmed in the written proposal or invoice. The website does not process online payments. Users should rely only on payment instructions issued through an approved ConforIQ document.
Confidentiality and submitted material
Each party should protect non-public information received for an inquiry or engagement and use it only for the relevant purpose, subject to legal obligations and any signed confidentiality terms. Product files should be submitted only when the sender is authorised to share them.
Intellectual property
Ownership and permitted use of project deliverables should be stated in the written engagement. ConforIQ retains its pre-existing methods, tools, templates, and know-how. Website content may not be republished or commercially reused without permission except where law allows.
Changes, suspension, and termination
Either party may need to change or end work when scope, information, timing, payment, legal, safety, or feasibility issues arise. The approved project terms should explain notice, work completed, committed third-party costs, and handling of any remaining balance.
Liability and disputes
Any warranties, exclusions, liability limits, governing law, and dispute process should be agreed in the signed commercial terms and interpreted subject to applicable law. Nothing on this website creates a liability term that cannot lawfully apply.
